No agreement on withdrawal of Russian troops and mercenaries from Donbas -- Ukraine Foreign Ministry

This is what Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin told journalists after the meeting of the “Normandy format” in Minsk.

According to the official, politicians at the meeting did not reach an agreement on the work of the OSCE in the area beyond the control of Ukraine-Russia border.

Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin said that Ukraine insists on the introduction of armed police mission.

“There is no agreement on all key issues. And it is probably right. There is no consensus on the issue of control and effective monitoring of the OSCE over the uncontrolled section of the Ukraine-Russia border, no agreement on effective access of the OSCE to the entire Donbas, no agreement on the removal of Russian troops and Russian mercenaries and weapons,” said Klimkin at a special briefing.

On November 29, the Belarusian capital conducted another event attempting to resolve the conflict in Donbas and discuss the “road map” in the implementation of the Minsk agreements. To this end, the Belarusian capital was visited by foreign ministers of Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine.
