Myasnikovich offers to give businesses unused real estate

Chairman of the upper chamber of Belarus Parliament made this suggestion during the meeting of the Council of the Republic Presidium in Byaroza.

“We need to find out which business areas are not used, seize them by the President’s decision, give them to businessmen for unpaid rent for good or for a few years, until the unemployment problem is solved. They are empty anyway,” said Mikhail Myasnikovich.

The Council of the Republic Chairman cited the example of Baranavichi Automatic Lines Plant with some huge shops being empty. The same situation is observed at plants in Pinsk, Slutsk, Homiel and dozens of other cities, belta.by reports.
