Moscow: Belarus citizen suspected of beating FSB lt colonel

The police detained a citizen of Belarus suspected of beating of a Russian senior security agent.

The victim works for the directorate “K” of the Federal Security Service (FSB) in Moscow.

“A man born in 1991 was detained over the incident. He came from Belarus; according to preliminary information, the detainee does not have a steady job,” a source familiar with the situation told news agency TASS.

The attack took place on 10 February. On that day, unknown people threw a bottle at a Skoda car, driven by the FSB lieutenant colonel. When the man got out of the car, they battered him.
