Minsk men usually marry for first time at 28, women at 26.3

Last year the capital accommodated 17,613 marriages and 7,763 divorces.

For every 1,000 residents, the number of marriages last year amounted to an average of 9.1, and for divorces – 4. This is what the agency Minsk-News referring to the head of the statistics department of the Chief Statistical Office in Minsk Larysa Dayneka announced.

The average age of Minsk men getting married for the first is 28 years, for women – 26.3. If we talk about remarriage, men do it at 40.5 years and women at 37.6 years.
