The 2nd European Games are to kick off in Belarus on Friday. Belsat.eu will follow the high-profile sporting event that Minsk will be hosting on June 21-30.
There are 10 hours shy of the grand opening ceremony will start at 22.00 at the Dinamo in the Belarusian capital. Azerbaijan president Ilham Aliyev, Moldova president Igor Dodon, Serbia president Aleksandar Vucic, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, Chechnya’s leader Ramzan Kadyrov are among the VIP guests.
According to the official website, 196 countries will broadcast the European Games in which 4,000 athletes, representatives of 50 states, will participate. In total, competitions in 15 sports and 23 disciplines will take place.
On the first day, June 21, fans will stand a chance to view 3×3 basketball, boxing and archery contests.
