In the afternoon of September 24, lawyer Lyudmila Kazak disappeared in Minsk. As it turned out, she was detained.
At 13:50, Lyudmila Kazak parted with her colleague, whom she met on Kamunisychnaya Street. She hurried to the court session. She never came to court, though. The car was parked at Kamunistychnaya, TUT.by writes.
According to eyewitnesses, the lawyer was detained at 13:50 by unknown persons opposite Kamunistychnaya, 24. She was put in a Geely car (plate number 8971 TA-7). The woman shouted “Help!” many times, Nasha Niva reports.
The press secretary of the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee Natallya Hanusevich told TASS later that Lyudmila Kazak was detained for an administrative offense.
“She was detained for committing an administrative offense, we do not specify which. She is in one of the territorial police departments of Minsk,” said Hanusevich.
(UPD) On September 25, Lyudmila Kazak was tried in Kastrychnitski district court of Minsk. She was found guilty of disobeying police officers; a fine of 675 Belarusian rubles was imposed on her.
