What happened to Dzyanis Kuznyatsou is unclear. The victim’s brother Pavel told belsat.eu that he does not know if his brother took part in the protests and how he ended up in Akrestsina Street. The doctors only told Pavel that upon admission, the employees of the detention center told them that Dzyanis had allegedly fallen from the second tier of the bunk bed.

One of the emergency hospital doctors, on condition of anonymity, confirmed to Euroradio that they indeed have a patient from Akrestsina detention center in a serious condition. He is currently on artificial lung ventilation.

Media outlets and journalists have recorded hundreds of pieces of evidence of systematic torture, beatings and humiliation of the detained participants of the post-election protests.
