Man sets himself on fire in front of police building

On September 18, a man doused himself with gasoline and set himself on fire. Seeing this, an employee ran out of the building of the police building and put out the fire. The man had sustained multiple burns and is currently in the hospital.

Witnesses told Belsat that it was an act of self-immolation in protest.

And the Ministry of Internal Affairs representative said that the man had been repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for alcohol abuse. He also spoke about possible suicide.

Police have been busy examining the scene.
