After spending 12 days at the Belarusian NPP, the IAEA Mission (16 experts from different countries) came to the conclusion that Belarus can share with the world “its positive experience” in the field of nuclear power plant construction, belapan.by quoted Director General of the IAEA Peter Tippen.
According to the agency, the experts made a number of suggestions and recommendations to the Belarusian NPP builders in the areas that are “still in need of improvement”.
The IAEA mission visited Belarus to assess the attitude of the Belarusian authorities to nuclear power and their compliance with the IAEA safety standards. Experts were invited by the Belarusian side.
