The Belarusian leader may arrive in Paris and take part in the events on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, French MP Christophe Lejeune told Belsat TV contributors Volha Czajczyc and Larysa Shchyrakova.

More than 120 honoured guests, including 80 heads of states and governments, were invited to the international memorial ceremony that would take place on November, 11 near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. After the ceremony, the participants will be welcomed at the Elysee Palace.
According to Christophe Lejeune, these days tension is growing among countries, that is why takeaways of the First World War should be remembered. Therefore, in the same day, the leaders of countries will open the Paris Peace Forum which is aimed at working on proposals to ease international tension. Several thousand people – representatives of leading international organizations, civil activists and others – will be involved in the Forum’s activities.
On November 11, European countries commemorate Armistice Day to mark the armistice signed between the Allies of World War I and Germany at Compiègne (France).
