World of CSTO spokesman: Hatred of Ukraine, praise on Stalin, maneuvers at Polish border

Vladimir Zaynetdinov, who is responsible for contacts with mass media at the Collective Security Treaty Organisation, has no scruples about saying outright lies and disseminating fake information.

Zaynetdinov, a native of Russia, is often on the attendance of the CSTO during his visits to the alliance’s six member countries, including Belarus.

Interestingly, the majority of his Facebook posts is dedicated to Ukraine which Zaynetdinov despisingly calls ‘Ukropia’ or ‘Ukradina’.

Sometimes the top official descends to fascist symbols, slander and banal lies, for example, he is not ashamed to spread fake information on Poland’s alleged territorial claims to Ukraine referring to the ‘statement’ by Polish president Andrzej Duda.

He repeatedly raises the issue of the division of Ukraine between Russia and Poland and cites Polish and Czech fringe politicians and distorts the words of Ukrainians.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”374450″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]

According to Zaynetdinov, Ukraine’s independence is nothing but nonsense and historical mistake. “Look, these are separatists!” he says posting photos of Ukrainian protesters demanding the departure from the USSR in the late eighteens. Moreover, he recommended Ukrainian journalists working in Moscow to read the book ‘Ukraine is Russia’.

The official always regrets that Stalin’s secret police failed to kill all the dissidents.

“Eh, it is a pity that the Chekist did not manage to kill all Banderovites,’ Zaynetdinov writes in a post about the trial of a 93-year-old NKVD Colonel in Ukraine’s Rivne.

He is very loyal to the Russian authorities, but keeps criticizing Moscow’s ‘betrayal’ of Donbas separatists.

Zaynetdinov’s views are not very different from those of the so-called Russian military elite, which is not ery oprimistic for Belarus. Since 1993, our country has been a CSTO member, its officers have been taking part in joint military exercises, e. g. in ‘Peacekeeping operations in the territory of a third country which does not belong to the CSTO’. There are many good clues which country is the case.

Some of these exercises took place ‘not far from the Belarusian-Ukrainian border and not far from Poland – a NATO member state, Zaynetdinov stressed.
