At the meeting on August 6th Alyaksandr Lukashenka stated that he instructed the Ministry of Internal Affairs to actively cooperate with the population to prevent destabilization of the situation in the country and to identify suspicious persons.

“I honestly confess, and perhaps you won’t tell me anything new: we do not know what they are capable of. “We don’t even know who they are. Either it is Americans with NATO, or someone from Ukraine is pushing us, or our Eastern brothers “love” us so much — we do not even know. There is a hybrid war against Belarus, and we have to expect nasty tricks from any side. That’s what we are doing, by the way,” stressed the head of state, his press service reported.

According to him, a lot of people have already been detained in Belarus, aiming to destabilize the country. And this is not only Wagnerians.

“Names, surnames, addresses, passwords, meeting places are known. It sometimes looks like a miracle. The media are alerting us that the Americans, the NATO, want to invade us here. Some people have been detained with American passports, married to American women working in the State Department. But they are being vehemently protected by Russian leaders,” said Lukashenka.

He noted that everything is decided by money, and belonging to a country or party does not matter.

“It doesn’t matter if you are an American, a state official, or if you belong to a democratic party… You participated in the election campaign in Russia, you got good money for it. Today they are hyping in Belarus. I think: the Americans will start protecting them now. They won’t. The money makes people’s eyes look green: who pays, orders the tune. This is the only clue. And we have a lot of such people,” said the head of Belarus.

According to him, a lot of people have taken part in early voting, as they do not want to lose the country. At the same time, Lukashenka reiterated the inadmissibility of a Maydan in Minsk.

Apparently, in his speech, Lukashenka mentioned, among other things, the Belarusian political strategist Vital Shklyarau. He was born in Homiel, the hometown of Syarhei Tsikhanouski. He studied in Germany, worked in the election campaigns of Angela Merkel, Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders.

His wife is a U.S. citizen, working at the American Embassy in Kyiv. So Shklyarau has a diplomatic passport.

Shklyarov has been ascribed cooperation with Tsikhanouski, but his staff refutes this information.
