At a meeting on June 19 on the support of the real sector of the economy by the banking system, President of Belarus said there is a need to concentrate resources in the economy.

“We need to pull ourselves together and live in the conditions we have. If the National Bank and some members of the Government do not understand this, then get ready to leave. There is no other way. We need to concentrate. All resources should be combined,” said Alyaksandr Lukashenka, as reported by his administration.

According to him, the economy is not a disaster, “but there are certain problems associated with the fact that the world has closed down”.

The head of Belarus also promised to “deal with the private enterprises that are delaying wages to employees, as “they have played politics instead of doing business, expanding, deepening and watching their people. Other enterprises that have really found themselves in a difficult position “need help”.

Lukashenka also said that “certain forces have become active, they are beginning to work more intensively, ‘rocking the boat’.

“But still we managed to take some steps forward and disrupt the large-scale plan of destabilizing Belarus (this is not a joke or intimidation), to leading the country to a Maidan. This was the goal. Masks have been ripped off not only from the dolls, which we had here, but also from puppeteers, sitting outside Belarus,” he said.

According to him, he won’t let anyone “break this country”.
