Lukashenka’s son visits Chechnya, meets with Kadyrov. For what?

On June 25, Viktar Lukashenka, the Belarusian leader’s eldest son and a presidential security aide, visited Chechnya.

The university where Russian special forces are trained has been shown to Viktar Lukashenka, Chechnya’s strongman Ramzan Kadyrov said on Vkontakte.

According to Kadyrov, heads of law enforcement agencies and security forces of many countries are taking an interest in the Russian Special Forces University.

“Soldiers from instructor teams and special units members have demonstrated their skills of conducting special operations,” Kadyrov wrote.

It was Kadyrov’s close associate Daniil Martynov who gave the delegation a tour around the university. Viktar Lukashenka was accompanied by Belarusian siloviki.

“This is the best I have ever seen [in this field]. I am very impressed,” he said.

Kadyrov and Lukashenka Jr also discussed ‘issues of mutual interest’ . But the head of Chechnya failed to go into detail.

Interestingly, Belarusian state-run media have not reported the visit of the delegation headed by Viktar Lukashenka.
