Lukashenka's rating 76% secret note claims

Andrei Kryvashein is a political observer at Belteleradiocompany. He has recently published a note on Facebook signed by the head of the Operational and Analytical Center under President Andrei Paulyuchenka. The note was intended for Alyaksandr Lukashenka personally.

The document states that in February 2020, there was a decline in confidence in the government. Apparently, in March, Lukashenka’s rating was 60% in the country and about 52% in Minsk. According to the OAC, the decline in trust was due to Belarusians’ dissatisfaction with the actions of the authorities during the coronavirus pandemic. The situation was also affected by the deteriorating socio-economic situation.

However, the document states that later the trust in Lukashenka allegedly began to grow. In June, it seemed to have grown to the level of 76%, while in the near future it may reach 80%, “which practically excludes serious electoral risks”.
