'Let them die!' Terrorist attacks in Europe in our interests – Russia's MP


Russia does benefit from terrorist attacks in Europe and deaths of Europeans, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a notorious Russian MP and the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, said on TV channel Rossiya on March, 22.

“Terrorist attacks occur in Europe, and it will happen again! And they are advantageous for us! Let them [Europeans] pop off and die!” Zhirinovsky, the deputy chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia, said.

Belgium raised its terror alert to the highest level after attacks on the Zaventem airport and metro left more than 30 people dead.

Russia informed the Belgian authorities of the Belarusian-born Dovbash brothers preparing attacks in Brussels, pro-Kremlin media outlet Lifenews said after Tuesday’s tragedy. It was as far back as March 14 when Lifenews reported about the ‘Belarusian islamists’ on its website with reference to a source in the FSB, Russia’s security service.
