Kadyrov reportedly comes down with coronavirus - media


Chechnya’s Head Ramzan Kadyrov was taken by plane to Moscow on May, 21. He allegedly contracted the novel coronavirus, BAZA reports.

According to the media outlet, Chechen strongman was admitted to one of the best clinics of the Russian capital city.

“Taking the medical data into account, Ramzan Akhmatovich has already been diagnosed with lung affection. However, COVID-19 is not confirmed, but suspected,” the article reads.

A few days ago, Kadyrov got the symptoms of acute respiratory viral infection. Then his condition took a turn for the worse, and local doctors recommended he seek help in Moscow.

During the COVID-19 epidemic, the Chechen authorities imposed a curfew, barred people from using public transport and entering the region; they even restricted assess to federal highways, which outraged Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
