Internet users would not chip in on pro-Lukashenka youth organization military festival

For two months members of the pro-Lukashenka youth organization collected money for the military reconstruction festival dedicated to the start of the Great Patriotic War, but they only managed to collect 9% of the required amount.

Although the fundraising campaign was not successful, the festival called “June 22, 1941. Brest Fortress” is still going to happen at the expense of budget funds and money of Brest firms and businesses that could not stay away from the request for help.

According to “Belsat” sources, the Brest City Executive Committee appealed to them for help. If they do not help, there will be police visits and inspections, our sources claim.

A crowdfunding platform was used by several people to collect at least 2,500 USD for the festival, but they only managed to collect $ 228.

The Belarusian Republican Youth Union was unable to raise money for the Military Festival dedicated to the Great Patriotic War through a crowdfunding platform.

Meanwhile, for six years in a row, Brest authorities turned the anniversary of the attack by Nazi Germany on the Soviet Union into a show.

This time, the program includes a march, musical program with a brass band, dancing, singing, fashion shows, and of course the military-historical reconstruction.
