On the night of November 12, unknown persons threw red paint on the monument to Vladimir Lenin in the Belarusian town of Slutsk.
A few hours later, the paint was washed off, only some blurs remain on the monument and the sidewalk, SlutskGorod reports.
On November 7, a celebration on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution was held at the very heart of Minsk. Belarus is the only post-Soviet country where November, 7 is a public holiday.
