On October 3, the Belarusian Health Ministry updated information on the coronavirus situation in the country.
To date, Belarusian health professionals have registered 79,852 persons infected with the novel coronavirus, 431 new cases have been confirmed.
“For the entire period of the spread of the infection in the country, 851 patients who were previously tested positive for the coronavirus have died; they had chronic and co-existing illnesses,” the statement reads.
75,148 patients who were diagnosed with COVID-19 have already recovered. By the moment, 1,916,340 tests for detecting the virus have been conducted in Belarus.
