Belarusian cinemas are showig “The Hitman’s Bodyguard” with one of the characters playing the head of Belarus.
Director of the “Interfilm Distribution”, the company that distributes the film in the territory of Belarus, has confirmed the information. Sergey Kozyrev explained that the dubbing was made by the decision of the Russian-Ukrainian company ‘Megogo’that owns the rights for the movie.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka in the movie is played by Gary Oldman. In the Russian version the dictator’s name is Vladislav Dukhavich, who is on trial in The Hague for genocide of Bosnians.
