On September 22, the 71st U.S. Television Academy’s Emmy Award Ceremony was held in Los Angeles.
HBO’s historical drama ‘Chernobyl’ was awarded in three categories: Outstanding Limited Series, Outstanding Writing In a Limited Series and Outstanding Directing.
Another HBO series — “Game of Thrones” — won the prize as the Outstanding Drama Series, and Peter Dinklage for his role as Tyrion Lannister received the award as the Outstanding Supporting Actor.
Out of a total of 24 HBO awards, he received nine.
The most titled series was the tragicomedy “Fleabag” from Prime Video, which won in four categories: “Outstanding Comedy Series”, “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series”, “Outstanding Directing In a Comedy Series” and “Outstanding Screenplay In a Comedy Series”.
