86% of Russians approve of the policy Vladimir Putin is pursuing as President of Russia, the recent survey by Levada Center says.
The survey was conducted in May, 2015. It covered 1,600 people in 46 regions of Russia. Only 13% or respondents were dissatisfied with Putin’s actions.

62% of the interviewees named Vladimir Putin when asked about a politician they trust most; 29% remembered Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. 21% of Russians trust Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev while 14% are in favour of Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
60% of Russians believe that the country is depeloping in the right direction. 23% fear that the politicians will bring the country to deadlock.

The highest level of support for the Russian leader was observed in the autumn of 2014 (88%).
