In Minsk, police detained the correspondents and equipment of the film crew of the German TV channel ARD. Later the journalists were released. The detention took place on the eve of the bloggers’ rally #whatsnext.
Serge Kharytonau, a journalist of the TV channel “Current Time”, reported about the detention.
The driver of the ARD TV crew spent two and a half hours in the Central Department of Internal Affairs.
On November 8th, a rally was held on Freedom Square in Minsk, which was planned and organized by the blogger NEXTA a few days ago.
