Russian General Nikolai Kozik, a native of Belarus’ Vitsebsk region), privatized a plot of land in the zone of engineering and technical facilities practically at the Russian-Finnish border, opposition activist Alexei Navalny says.
Kozik works as deputy head of the Border Guard Service of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), a ‘successor’ of the Soviet-era KGB.
According to Navalny’s anti-corruption fund, an ordinary citizen is prohibited from entering the zone. „Entering is an attempt to illegally cross the state border, which may result in opening a criminal case against you,” navalny.com warns.
