The photo was posted on Twitter on May 31; a few days later it went viral on social media.
A local TV station made a story about the incident, and the news reached the Latvian president’s administration. The swastika knocked its employees back on their heels and made them ‘фыл certain questions’, Janis Siksnis, a presidential aide, said.
A company, for which the ‘creative’ gardener is working (or has worked) will not mow the presidential lawn anymore – the contract with them will be broken, delfi.lt reports.
