Four people bitten by rabid cats in Baranavichy

Two cases of rabies have been officially registered in Baranavichy. A set of veterinary and sanitary anti-epidemiological measures was introduced in the city. The cats were neutralized.

In one case, a resident of the Eastern part of the city became a victim of the cat. The second case occurred on the territory of a garage area in the Northern District where the cat bit three men.

“The victims were sent to medical institutions for anti-rabies measures,” the expert noted.

Since the beginning of the year, 28 cases of animal rabies have been registered on the territory of the Brest region, including three cats. Rabies is a deadly disease.
