The high-level meeting within the framework of the Eastern Partnership which was planned to be held in Minsk on October 4-5 was postponed, not canceled, Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Oleg Kravchenko said during the discussion at the Warsaw Security Forum on October 3 while answering the question of Belsat journalist.
“The high-level meeting in Minsk was postponed, not canceled,” said Deputy Minister.
The EU mission in Belarus reported in the morning that the visit of High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini to Belarus was postponed.
After it became known that she wouldn’t be able to come to Minsk, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius canceled his visit to Belarus. Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will not come to Belarus either.
On October 4, the head of Belarus will be in Zhytomyr, where he plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine.
