In an interview with BelTA, Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs spoke about the most important event for our country this year.

According to Uladzimir Makey, it will be the second European games.

“Minsk and the whole of Belarus will receive a lot of guests from Europe and from other regions of the world. The event promises to be a large-scale, colorful and spectacular one. All bodies of state administration, including the Foreign Ministry, are prepared to take it seriously,” said Makey.

According to the diplomat, the Foreign Ministry last year suggested that the ambassadors who work in Minsk visit and watch the preparation of gymnasts.

“Not that we opened a big secret to them, but we did show them the sports backstage,” continued Makey.

According to Foreign Minister, Belarus has created good conditions for the guests of the event, introducing a visa-free regime for citizens of 74 countries who come to Belarus via Minsk airport.
