Famous doctor fired after critical post on Facebook

The day before chief part-time infectious disease doctor of Minsk city executive committee, Nikita Solovey, published a list of doctors, detained and convicted over the past week, in his Facebook. The chief infectious disease doctor of the capital criticized the authorities. Today it became known that the doctor had been dismissed.

Chief infectious disease doctor of Minsk Mikita Salavey recently published on Facebook a list of doctors who had been detained or convicted the week before. Earlier, Salavey became a member of the Coordinating Council.

“And now I have a question for the interim authorities and the direct perpetrators of the ordered cases – false witnesses and the so-called “judges”: are you all out of your minds there? Do you really think that medics aren’t capable of standing up for themselves and their colleagues at the end of the day? Or don’t you intend to live in a country where justice and good will prevail? (And there is no other way, you won’t be able to change our minds),” wrote Mikita Salavey.
