Evacuation in Moscow: 89 buildings ‘mined’

As a result of bomb alerts, dwellers and attendees are being evacuated from 49 buildings (UPD – 89), including shopping centres, and schools, in Moscow and Moscow region, Russian news agency RIA Novosti reports.

The number of evacuees is variously estimated at from 3,000 to 21,000 people.

According to local residents, evacuation measures have been taken today in Kellerman mall in St. Petersburg.

A few days ago, the authorities took people away of about 100 buildings in St. Petersburg, as well as from nine Cinema Star houses in Moscow.

In late January, unknown individuals showered such messages on the cities of the Far East. Then the wave of alerts began to spill over to the west – to Ulan-Ude, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk and finally Kemerovo. Dozens of public buildings and hundreds of their residents have gone through evacuation.
