Economy Minister Zinouski explained how law enforcement should control businesses

Law enforcers and inspectors focus primarily on prevention of delinquency among entrepreneurs, said recently Belarus Minister of Economy Uladzimir Zinouski.

The task of the administrative bodies, starting from from the district level, is to conduct advocacy campaigns among entrepreneurs, the minister added.

According to Zinouski, further steps in the development of entrepreneurship are being discussed with business associations.

The new decree on the development of entrepreneurship provides for the modification of some mechanisms of interaction between government agencies and businesses, minimizes the interference of officials in the work of business entities and strengthens the business self-regulation mechanisms.

At the same time, the “minimum necessary” level of control by the state is preserved.
