Charter flights to Russia through the Belarusian city of Homiel are made by Business Airlines planes.
The elite airline to friends of the Ukrainian President. Its income goes to an offshore company registered in the Virgin Islands, the investigation by hromadske.ua reads.
A number of persons whose names coincide to those of several high-ranking officials of Viktor Yanukovych’s presidency did engage the services of Business Airlines. Hromadske journalists do not rule out that the ousted Ukrainian leader fled to Russia by a plane owned by the air carrier.
It is to be recalled that Ukraine and Russia introduced mutual flight bans in October, 2015.
