Duty free shops to appear at Belarusian border

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has signed a decree changing the rules of operation of duty-free shops. In particular, duty free shops will appear at road checkpoints to enter Belarus, reports the press service of the President.

The decree notes that no more than one duty-free shop can be placed at a single road border crossing. In addition, the shop owners must adhere to special requirements for cash registers. Buyers can’t buy more alcoholic beverages and tobacco products than allowed to cross the border into Belarus.
