Drunk driver ends in underground pass in Minsk

Old Mazda drove into the underground passage near the metro station “Academy of Sciences” in Minsk.

As a result of the collision between Mazda and Lada at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Surhanava Street in Minsk around on Saturday evening, Mazda drove into the nearby metro station pass.

The Radio Liberty correspondent, who was at the scene, reported that the driver of Mazda looked drunk. He tried to leave the scene, but before the arrival of the police he was kept in place by the security guards of the underground.

Later the police cordoned off the exit from the metro. The floor of the lobby was slippery from the engine oil that leaked from the car.
