The press service of the Joint Force Operation (JFO) has reported about the situation on the border with the self-proclaimed LNR and DNR. According to the Ukrainian military, the enemy has repeatedly violated the ceasefire regime over the past 24 hours.
On 18 June, Ukrainian positions were shelled 11 times, 4 times using the weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements — 120 mm and 82 mm mortars.
Over the past 24 hours, three Ukrainian soldiers were injured and two received combat injuries. In the morning of 19 June, one Ukrainian soldier died during the shelling. Another soldier was injured.
According to the JFO, the Ukrainian military gave an adequate response without violating the Minsk Agreements.
On the morning of 19 June, Donetsk blogger Necro Mancer published a video in which a strong explosion was heard. The blogger wrote that the explosion occurred near the Petrovsky district administration of Donetsk.
The Ukrainian edition of unian.net, citing eyewitnesses, reported that shells fell next to Donetsk Children’s Hospital No. 4 on 19 June. The hospital is located next to the Petrovsky Children’s Hospital (not far from the Petrovsky executive committee).
