Deputy Prime Minister reveals road map details

Belarus and Russia plan to sign food supply balances for 2020 by the end of the month, Deputy Prime Minister Uladzimir Dvornik in an interview with TV channel Belarus 1.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the balances of food supplies satisfy both sides.

Uladzimir Dvornik also notes that it may take from two to six months for Belarus and Russia to work out the mechanism of introduction and removal of restrictions on the supply of agricultural enterprises.

“We are working out the procedure, there is an agreement between the Ministries of Agriculture of the two countries, so this item is already included in the road map,” he said.

This, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, will help to avoid “unclear situations,” when Belarusian enterprises can’t remove restrictions on the supply of their products in Russia for a year.

Today, about 60 Belarusian producers of meat and dairy products are subject to restrictions on the supply of their products. Of these, about 20 are completely closed.
