Defense minister names Ukraine’s enemy

Defense Minister of Ukraine Andriy Zagorodniuk was asked whether he considers Russia an enemy of Ukraine.

“As far back as 2014, I clearly understood that the name of the enemy consists of five letters – Russia (In Ukrainian: РОСІЯ). Not ‘militia’ or ‘local militia’, but the career officers of the Russian Federation, which became even more obvious during the horrific events in Ilovaisk,” he said on Facebook.

The minister also added that he would be doing his best to get Ukraine admitted as a member of NATO.
