The citizens’ debt to banks continue to grow in Belarus. This is evidenced by the data found in the statistical bulletin of the National Bank.
On February 1, 2020, the debt of Belarusians to banks amounted to 14.262 billion BYN. This figure accounts for consumer loans, car loans and real estate, as well as installment cards.
In January, the debt of individuals on loans increased by 109.3 million BYN.
The amount of debt increased by 2.534 billion BYN compared to February 2019.
