The Minister of Energy of Belarus Viktar Karankevich has said that the first power unit of the Belarusian NPP is planned to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2021, and the second one in 2022. “Karankevich informed about the progress of construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant. In August, the loading of nuclear fuel into the reactor unit of the first power unit of the Belarusian NPP was completed. The commissioning of the first power unit is scheduled for the first quarter of 2021, the second one for 2022,” the Telegram-channel of the Ministry of Energy reported on September 21.
