Chaychyts and Kozel had protocols drawn on them for streaming Barazenka trial

The journalists were sent a report dated 10 October. They are accused of illegal production and distribution of media. Now Volha Chaychyts and Andrei Kozel are expecting a subpoena.

The protocol says that the journalists conducted video filming. In his commentary to belsat.eu, Andrus Kozel noted that they were making a audio broadcast, which is not to be prohibited.

The reporters were working during the trial of Alyaksandr Barazenka. He was charged under the Administrative Code for copyright infringement by using the “Belsat” brand. Judge Anastasia Papko ruled to fine the journalist 920 BYN and confiscate the equipment.
