Brest police keeping eye on anarchists over leaflets

On Wednesday morning, the local police came and inspected the flats of several Brest activists of the anarchist movement.

A warrant was issued by Artsyom Ralinski, a deputy prosecutor of the city, Brest Spring reports.

It is the leaflets of ‘anarchist nature’ detected by police officers in Adamkouskaya street on April, 30 that afforded ground for the inspection. According to the police, persons who had pasted up leaflets, committed an administrative offense, i.e they violated rules for maintenance of order in populated places.

By the moment, human rights defenders have been informed of three visits. The police officers seized mobile phones, pendrives and stickers from the activists.
