Body of General Director of “Kinovideoprokat” (state film distribution agency) and the Minsk City Council deputy Yury Chachukevich was found in Minsk.
“The Minsk office of the Investigative Committee is looking into the death of a man whose body was found this morning near the house on Dzyarzhynski Ave. with marks of falling from height. We are examining the crime scene together with the police department and relevant services,” representative of the Investigative Committee of Yulia Hancharova wrote in her Facebook.
Mr Chachukevich headed the “Kinovideoprokat” on December 1, 2016. Prior to that, he held various positions in the Belarusian Republican Youth Union — including the post of the first secretary of the Minsk organization committee.
