The presidential candidate told TUT.by how her husband’s doing now.
Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya said that her husband, blogger Syarhei Tsikhanouski, was visited by a lawyer on July 2.
“Syarhei holds up well, he doesn’t lose his spirit. After leaving the cell, he was given 64 letters. He responds to all those who left a return address. He is very grateful to people for their support. In the detention center, of course, there are problems, but they should get solved,” says Svyatlana.
On July 1, Syarhei Tsikhanousky was sentenced to 15 days in prison. The hearing was held via Skype. Attendees noted how he had changed: the blogger had lost a lot of weight.
Tsikhanouski has been in jail since May 30. On June 13, he was placed in a disciplinary cell for 13 days.
The blogger is accused of organizing riots and preventing the CEC from working.
