Big hole in Belarus’ Social Protection Fund budget - Lukashenka

Alyaksandr Lukashenka raised the issue of the current deficit in the Social Protection Fund during Monday’s meeting with the senior officials of the Council of Ministers.

“For the past six years, the deficit has increased by 9 times. And the organization continuously lacks around 10% [of the necessary funds],” the presidential press office quotes him.

This year, the authorities were about to allocate 686 mln Belarusian rubles ($243 mln) to close the gap the the Fund’s balance.
