After many months of fighting the disease, our colleague Karolina Rusinowicz has succumbed to cancer at the age of 42.
She was born to a Polish family living in the Belarusian town of Lida. In 1996, she moved to Poland and settled in Warsaw. She earned her degree in journalism at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University (UKSW). She worked for the Belarusian service of Polish Radio (Polskie Radio); in 2012, she started contributing to the Polish version of belsat.eu.
Our colleague passed away the day after celebrating the 12th anniversary of Belsat. Over many years, she took on the task of staging our birthday events. In 2017, Karolina became part of the Belsat TV promotion team.
We exrend our its condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased. Karolina, your uncompromising will to live shakes us to the core; you will be missed forever.
