Belsat.eu visits closed art presentation

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]A unique collection of paintings of the Paris School was brought to Hrodna by Belgazprombank. Presentation of outstanding expressionist paintings in the New Castle was closed — for the state press only, but Belsat.eu managed to get in.

The art persentation in Hrodna is part of a large-scale project called “Belarusian Artists of the Paris School”, which was already demonstrated in Vilnius, Vitsebsk, Homiel and Minsk. The Belgazprombank collection is currently the largest collection of this group of expressionists not only in Belarus but also in Eastern Europe.

The paintings brought to Hrodna were painted by artists who were born in this part of the world. In particular, the exibited works were painted by Pinchus Krémègne, who comes from the Zhaludak, and Ossip Lubitch from Hrodna. Their names, well known in Europe, returned to their homeland – together with pictures – only in 2011.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”48898″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]Speaks director of New castleYury Kiturka[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”48894″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]Chair of the Belgazprombank Viktar Babaryka[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”48890″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]Award for artist Aliaksandr Baldakou[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Works by Lubitch and Kremegne have now been included in the list of historical and cultural heritage of Belarus.
