“I received the Belarusian visa. For the first time since the deportation 9 years and 3 months ago. … I am very pleased to be able to visit my friends and colleagues, although it is not certain that everything will be as it should,” wrote on her Facebook page Agnieszka Romaszewska.
Agnieszka Romaszewska-Guzy was born on January 15, 1962 in Warsaw. She is a member of the Association of Polish Journalists, of which she is currently serving as the vice chairperson. The founder and director of Belsat – the first and so far the only independent television channel for Belarusians.
Since August 2013, Agnieszka Romaszewska-Guzy has been a member of the steering committee of the European Federation of Journalists.
