Belneftekhim wants to save money after receiving poor-quality oil from Russia

At its meeting on May 3, the Council of the Belneftekhim discussed the situation with the supply of poor quality oil form Russia.

The concern’s chairman, Andrey Rybakou, noted that the inflow of low-quality oil will negatively affect the entire petrochemical industry, Belneftekhim reported.

He stressed that the approved measures to reduce production costs should be considered the minimum plan for saving resources. In addition, Rybakou instructed his staff to optimize costs that are not linked to production activities and to intensify the work of all units to identify additional reserves of savings.

Thanks to cost-cutting measures applied in January-March, the concern was able to reduce costs by 53.3 million rubles.
