The Mahiliou enterprise BelMash has allowed its female employees to work in swimsuits. It has to do with an abnormal heat wave covering Belarus, which affected labor productivity, the plant said. As an illustration of the experiment, BelMash shot its version of the “Satisfaction” music video.
“At the request of the female part of the team, the company’s management has updated the rules of the dress code for this category of employees on the territory of the company. Now you can meet the girls testing the company’s products – woodworking machines, in swimsuits. According to the new rules, equipment testers can be dressed in swimwear or beautiful underwear, which does not interfere with the main activity. A pinafore, glasses and gloves are used for protection. The rule applies only when the air temperature exceeds 27 degrees Celsius,” the press release of BelMash notes.
The management of the plant says that “the employees are satisfied with the loyalty of the management, while labor productivity has increased dramatically — by more than 20% for the entire team”.
“If the experiment is a success, we plan for male employees to switch to this kind of “uniforms”. The main thing is the result and efficiency of economic activity,” BelMash says.
As an illustration of its expert, BelMash posted a YouTube video of its staff working in swimsuits to the music of “Satisfaction”.
“Satisfaction” is an erotic video of the Italian producer Beni Benasi, which was hugely popular in the 2000s.
The BelMash enterprise produces woodprocessing machines used for manufacturing various wooden items as well as milling, and cutting etc.
